four-paw perfection

WHAT A GUARD DOG!! (strangers=aroo!!!!)

Agnes came to me after Lucille (my previous, non-BROOD basset) moved out. BROOD thought there might be an issue adopting her out because of her age and "grey hair" but that just makes her more lovable.

Her foster mommy was kind enough to deliver her to DC from West Virginia (four-hour drive each way -- go BROOD!!!) and from the first moment I met her I knew she was MY puppy. Apparently she was found running down a rural highway in West Virginia--probably discarded from a puppy mill after being too old to breed.

Other than the counter cruising, the garbage can cruising, and the needing to sleep on the couch, Agnes is perfection. She is a little lady on her leash (but doesn't like big trucks or bicycles). She loves other dogs. and is shy but sweet with strangers.

Best of all, she and my VERY AGGRESSIVE Siamese, Max, get along fine. Thank you BROOD for bringing lovely Agnes Marie into my life.

Here's photographic proof!
