I
just wanted to thank BROOD for a chance to adopt a really wonderful
furchild!
My
family was thinking about another hound, and through reading the Daily
Drool I found out about rescue and how to go about doing it. We joined BROOD and sent our application and fee in and it was so
fast. We went from thinking of getting another child to having
one. The adoption process went so quickly that the wife hardly had the
time to baby proof the house again.
We have Precious Angel (a basset) and Hillary (a Corgi) and now we
have Bea_Bea. I can sit and watch them for hours as they do the Basset 500 all
through the house and out the doggie door to their completely enclosed
private play room
Thanks BROOD for Bea_Bea. She now has a forever home.
-- From her loving family
And now a word from Bea ...
Hi
there - it's the Bea-Bea (aka Bulldozer, Bad Bea, Daddy's Girl, Love Bug)
here. I have found me a wonderful forever home now and I am happy, I can go outside whenever I
want, I can sleep anywhere I want and I have two loving sisters to play
with! I sleep beside mommie at night and I whine till she or daddy puts their hand some where on me,then I let them sleep too.
I love the attention my daddy gives to me (I'm his little girl).
I do the Basset 500 a lot now that I have someone to run it
with. You should see me hide behind the big bush and when Hillary (Corgi) comes around I jump out and she takes off I have to really run fast to keep up with her as she is small and really knows how to turn corners and run behind the bushes fast.
Thank you BROOD for saving my life when those people wanted me (put down) because they thought I was
blind. I was just slow growing up and my eye sight is normal and I do normal Basset Hound Stuff.
I'm a pretty good counter cruiser, and mommie and daddy have to keep everything put out of my reach but sometimes the little boy that they have (Darin) leaves stuff on his plate and I jump on his bed and reach over to his snack tray and I have my snack
too!
Gotta go now I just wanted to let
y'all know that I am happy in my new home.
More to come as I grow older.
Bea-Bea
