sister! sister!!

Wilma (left) and Betty are checking things out in the parking lot! It's hard to believe that it has only been six months that Betty and Wilma have come into our lives. With help from BROOD, we were able to find these two adorable sisters and offer them a loving home.

Betty and Wilma were affectionate from the very first night we brought them home. Wilma loves to be peWilma (left) and Betty snoozing after a hard daytted and flop into any available lap for cuddles, and our friends and family laugh when we tell them that Betty, with her 45 pounds, is the best lap dog ever. We have introduced them to everyone in the family and they are gentle with adults and children alike. I take pride in slowly transforming my self proclaimed "cat family" into dog lovers thanks to this dynamic duo!

These two sisters are inseparable and love to sleep together and have daily play sessions after dinner. They are excellent walkers and local celebrities in our neighborhood as they are the only bassets and receive a lot of attention. We were truly surprised at how many people stop and want to pet Betty and Wilma or smile and wave from their cars when they see them. Once they have had their walk they are quick to snuggle up on their favorite chairs or join us on the couch.

We would like to thank BROOD for giving us the opportunity to share our home with these two girls.
