"buddyno"

Would you say NO to this face?!?Hi I'm Buddy and I am a very happy-go-lucky kind of dog. I used to live with a really great family who loved me so much and I had a really sweet little girl who loved to play with me. I used to get into trouble when I tried to go to school with her on the school bus. I don't understand why dogs can't go to school too.

Anyway, I got kind of sick and I was costing my family a lot of money so I went to live with another nice family. They had lots of fun pets! There were other bassets to play with and some strange feathered creatures who liked to squawk and bite at my nose through their cage.

One day a nice couple came to visit me and they decided they wanted me to live at their house. They seemed nice enough so I said ok. When I got to my new home in Virginia I found out I had a basset brother named Dignan!  He loved having someone to play with and was so excited to see me. Then I think he realized that I was there to stay so his excitement has worn off a little.

Some people tell me sometimes that I'm not the brightest dog (maybe they should let me go to school). I even ate a rock I found in the yard one day and got very sick. It took a lot of time and money before I felt better so I'll be sure to stay away from rocks in the future!

The best news of all about my new life is that last year my wonderful new owners brought home a little girl from the hospital for me to play with! She giggles whenever I come in the room and squeals if I put my wet nose on her toes. For some strange reason she thinks my name is "BuddyNo."  I guess I must be getting into too much trouble. Oh well, she and I will have fun times together and maybe I'll be able to follow her to school one day.
