ginger
finds the spice of life
 I
entered my new family on the night of April 6th, 2007. When my new mommy
and daddy came to see me for the first time, I jumped right into their
arms! My new sister, Nellie gave me kisses. Mommy and daddy
rescued her too. She's only part basset, the other part is beagle, but
that's ok.
On the long car ride to my new home, I sat on my
new mommy’s lap and did not move. My sister was in the back seat. When
we finally got there, two and a half hours later, I still had a little
energy left. I chewed on a chew-eez and then we all went to bed. We all
share a huge bed!! I found out that mommies make a great pillow.
I
really love my new mommy and daddy and even my big sister, they give me
kisses and lots of play time and wrestling time and we even did a walk
to help other homeless dogs, like I was, find as good as home that I
have. Mommy and daddy even let me help them out. I help daddy play video
games and Nellie and I help mommy clean the house. She says that we are
really good at cleaning the dishes.
I get to meet one set of my grandparents soon. I'm
a little nervous but mommy and daddy says that they are going to love me
and spoil me, but that’s what grandparents are for right?!
I have a great forever home!!! I am sooooo glad
that BROOD rescued me and let this wonderful family adopt me! I really
love it here!!! Thank you so much BROOD!!!!!!!!
Love, Ginger (formerly Marbles)
