the
luck of the irish parade
What
a lucky houndie I am! After being in BROOD's system for well over a
year, I finally got a forever home and it's back in West Virginia where
I was originally found.
My new family met me at the St. Patrick's Day
parade in Alexandria, VA. At first they thought I was a bit old to be a
companion for the family's lab/poodle puppy but my sweet nature and
pretty speckled body made them think twice.
For
an older gal, I do still have lots of energy and just love my toys-
especially the hedgie that grunts and things that squeak. My new two-legged
friend Matt (13 years old) has claimed me as his dog and he plays with
me a lot and takes me for walkies. I even have a special cot and blanket
in his room to sleep on.
It's really fun when we go to the park to watch
him play roller hockey. I love my new family, even my sometimes annoying
little sister (who is way taller than me) and I can't wait to see my old
BROOD friends at the Ramble this May. I hope all the dogs can find homes
as nice as the one! I've got!
Love, Janee (the dog formerly known as Jan)!
