sweet jazmine

We had been thinking of making our group three. Daisy was a rescue and very particular so we thought we would have to get another puppy as we had done before. We where very pleased with the two bassets we had: Daisy is 2 and Iris 10 months. We decided in the spring to find breeders in the area.

We always look at the BROOD website and wish we could do more. One day when we own our own property I dream of being able to foster and help an organization like BROOD.

We stumbled onto Frolic’s story and her page. We found her story so sad and she was such a beautiful girl we wanted to give her a home. Also she was young enough for Daisy to accept her.

We went through the adoption process with BROOD and we knew that even her wonderful foster mom loved her dearly. We named her Jazmine Frolic and knew right away we had a darling girl. So smart, sweet and eager to please. A little Houndini as well.

Daisy and she hit it off right away. We had a tough time with Iris and her, them both being around the same age and all. But with some common sense and help from BROOD they are all settling in nicely. They act as a pack that has always been together.

It is readily apparent the BROOD not only cares about Basset Hounds but also the people who love them. I highly suggest opening your heart to one of the dogs in their charge as they will make sure the match works for all involved.

Thank you BROOD for making our family complete!
