lou's no loser

We can't imagine life without our beloved Lou, it seems like he's always been a part of our family. Lou has quite a history with BROOD, he's been with different fosters and been adopted and returned. He's actually been in the BROOD family for three years!

We love him dearly, he's funny and endearing and has the cutest way of lifting his handicapped leg (part of his history) and wiggling his butt at the same time, as if to say "Don't you feel sorry for me? I deserve a treat!" His eyes shine with love, and he wants nothing more than to cuddle, although a walkie is always welcome! (With all the treats, he needs his walkies!)

And he gets along so well with all our other rescues: his basset big sister Chloe (age 10), with the old man of the bunch -Oscar (our 13 year old Dachshund), with his favorite playmate Bravo (our 8 year old Belgian Malinois), and with Sylvester the Cat, who he would love to play with if Sylvester would just pay him any attention.

Thanks so much to Diane and Lisa for all the love and care you gave him, and for helping him get through some very hard times. We promise, as much as humanly possible, there will be no more hard times for our Lou!
